Old Mark V quill return spring
I have I believe what’s called a greenie? Older ShopSmith V that looked to be green and a silver color. Anyways I need a quill return spring. Where do I locate one outside of used on eBay?

Consider SS Inc.? Current 'Marks' use the same part.
PN s/b 501315, but it is not found when searched for. Hope that is a transition error.

As JPG said all Mark 5/V's use the same Quill Return Spring. Shopsmith has them as N/A for some reason in the parts listings. It is part number 501315 as shown in the Mark 7 parts listings but N/A there too. They had been selling it only already installed in the Spring Housing. Of note the Model 10E and 10ER also used the same Quill Return Spring so that is an option on the used market. You should try contacting Customer Support to see if you can get a replacement from them. I cannot understand why it is listed as N/A in the repair parts listings, but a number of things have been lost since the website changeover.
