I just purchased a 10ER today. It looks to have most of the parts and it seems to be in very good condition. I paid $80. I think I got a pretty good deal. I have a picture but I'm not sure how to attach it to this message.

To attach a Picture look below the post.

There will be 2 Folder tabs.
Options is open.
Move over too the next tab.

Click on the one that says Attachments.

Hope this helps. :)

The speed changer alone was worth the $80.

wti6564,

Welcome to the Shopsmith Forum.

You got a pretty good deal. As JPG said the Speed Changer can go for more than what you paid for it. Hopefully the Speed Changer is complete. It looks like it is currently set up on just the motor and Headstock 3-step pulleys bypassing the Speed Changer.

It looks in good usable condition already. The Way Tubes are not covered in rust which is always a good sign of its condition.

Your Model 10ER was made in the Western Plant around mid 1951.

Post more pictures of what you have and we can help with any questions you may come up with.

"TP" is an acronym for toilet paper. :D
