An observation, more forum activity lately?

Post by cooch366 »

As I see a very positive turn, it appears to me that there has been a good size uptick in the activity here lately which I think is a great thing.

Is it just me with this observation?

It has picked up. Some of it is the time of year, with summer over people return to indoor activities. I think in some years this results in more used Shopsmiths for sale as people want to make space for a new activity instead. Either way it's a good indication of continued interest in woodworking and continued interest in Shopsmiths.

I don't want to be overly optimistic about this next part, but possibly the old chorus of people who hate Shopsmiths despite never owning or using one has withered away. I hear more often now that people are surprised they are still in business and recalling their father or grandfather used to own one.

We have a number of new members asking great questions and providing their own input. I'm glad to see interest has picked back up.
