If it's leaking from the bottom, I think it might be the expansion plug that's the issue. I managed to do a little damage to the top bearing outside sleeve (see ictures below) when I was removing the lower chuck shaft oil seal so I'm going to bring it to a machine shop to have it done. I bought a little oil seal puller from Amazon but still managed to tear it up anyway! I'm concerned the the oil seal may not seat correctly with the damage that I've caused. I know I don't have the proper tools to deal with that thin-walled nylined bearing: don't want to chance I'd damaging the aluminum housing so I'd rather have a pro do it for me so I don't have to go back in to repair another leak.

I say all that to say this: I will ask about the design and correct dimensions of the expansion plug when I bring it in: maybe the machine shop guy can get the specifications of the plug for us. Anyway, the hold up now is waiting on a price from BDI Express on the nylined bearing parts... Apparently, "Express" is in name only!

Here's some pictures of removal of the inner plastic or nylon inner sleeves. I used a couple of small eyeglass screw drivers to get behind the plastic sleeve then used a pair of needle nose pliers to grab onto the edge of the sleeve to remove it from the bushing. It might be helpful to use two pairs of needle nose pliers because if you have to reposition your grip with one pair the sleeve has a tendency to snap back into position in the bushing.

Well, I struck out with BDIExpress.com. I had requested a quote for the Nylined bearings a couple of days ago. They responded back today saying that "Sorry. Neither of these are available to quote anymore. As we cannot get direct."

So, I found one other distributor - Motion Industries that listed the THOMSON NYLINER bearings. After registering, you can purchase from them online at www.motion.com. Initially, the complete bearing price online was $29.89 and the liner portion was $3.42. I decided to call in to one of their regional office locations (happened to be one here in Baton Rouge). The representative was very helpful. He didn't have these in stock here in town but he ordered them and there was no charge for shipping to my home address. I am in the process of restoring mine now. On the Nylined bearings you list, do you need two of each for the top and bottom?
