Re: Heads Up - Bargain 'available'
Looks like a good deal if you want all that stuff. Looks like it will include a box o' parts that may be useful. Doesn't look like it's been well kept recently but might just be dirty. Thanks for posting, I don't look at FB but interesting to see what's being advertised there.cooch366 wrote: ↑Sun Nov 17, 2024 8:34 am With a planer, jointer & jigsaw… $800.00

Model 10E with Speed Changer in Central MA - $100
Saw this one on FB Marketplace. Mislabeled as a Mark 5, but looks to be in good original condition.

Re: Heads Up - Bargain 'available'
It still amazes me that some sellers can't read. All they have to do is read what it says on the tool. In this case the Logo/serial number plate which clearly says Model 10E. I have seen Model 10E and 10ER tools listed as Mark V in ads before. Right now, near me is a craigslist ad for a Mark IV. It is not an actual Mark 4 but is a Mark V. There was a different ad a week ago for a Mark 5 listed as a Mark IV.

Re: Heads Up - Bargain 'available'
Yes there also appears to be little recognition that a Mark 5 ever existed!
Now reading labels on a Mark VII will definitely add to the confusion.
One label On the motor pan) says "Mark 7".

Re: Heads Up - Bargain 'available'
It's why I always refer to them as the current Mark 7 or the Mark VII from the 1960's.
