Bevel gears
I am looking for the two bevel gears the go on my Sawsmith. They raise and lower the head unit. Anyone had any luck in finding these gears?
Re: Bevel gears
For a Sawsmith RAS? I'd think they were standard gears, though maybe not available with the exact bore you need. You're just turning them with a crank so you can bore out those gears yourself and you only have to get close to the right diameter. When I get a chance I'll go look at the replacement parts I have for that height adjustment, maybe have one extra. Probably will take a while before I can do that. Maybe I can get one off to measure it though.
ETA: You don't need those specific bevel gears either, any mating pair close to the the right size you can attach to the rods and it should work.
