Which tool are you referring to. The Model 10E and 10ER has a different style Quill Feed Handle assembly than the Mark 5/V. I believe the Mark 2 from the 1950's into 60's and Mark VII from the 1960's had the same handle as the Mark 5 of the same era.

I would have to measure the one you are asking about.

Simpler answer for the Model 10E and 10ER. The Feed Lever length with the knob end is 6-1/2" long overall. It should look like the one below.

For anyone else reading this thread to get similar information for the Mark 5/V, the Feed Lever and knob measures from 6" for the early Mark 5 and the three later versions are 6-3/4" long overall. The differences between the Feed Levers are the knob it has. The first was larger in diameter and bright red. The other three have longer knobs a bit smaller in diameter which vary slightly. They are bright red, dark red or black.

I should correct something I said yesterday about the Mark 2 Feed Lever possibly being the same as the Mark 5/V Feed Lever. Like many parts of the Mark 2 the Feed Lever was made "cheaper" and has a smaller diameter lever shaft and is 5" long.

For anyone else looking for information about the Quill Feed Handle Assemblies for the Mark 5/V pictures of each are below.

The first one is the shorter larger diameter stubby handle.

Next is the red handle.

The dark red Handle.

Finally the black handle and current one.

They are all shown with the Quill Feed Hub. When seen side by side the Knobs all differ in size/shape somewhat. Sorry I don't have a picture of all 4 together.

It may be helpful to know that similar Handles were used on the Carriage for raising and lowering the Main Table on the Mark 5/V 500 with the original Table System. The overall length of those Handles are shorter at 5-1/2" than the Quill Feed Handle. There is an even shorter Handle used on the Jointer which is 3-1/2" long. Yet another Handle assembly is found on the Power Station and the Crafter's Station to lock Carriage Assembly (SPT Mount) in place. Finding similar parts in different places can make getting the right part in the right place difficult at times.
