Welcome Back!

Post by thedovetailjoint »

Scott, from MyGrowthRings here. Yes, my name or alias here predate the creation of my YouTube channel by about 15 years. I am thrilled that this is back up and running and can’t wait for the conversations and sharing to continue. Thanks for Andrew, Alex and the entire team at Shopsmith USA for making the restoration of the Forum a top priority. Welcome back, y’all!

Same here. This is one of the sites I check every day when I start my work computer. Great that it's back, and thanks Scott for the YT notification. I saw it within 15 minutes of you posting it but the forum was swamped and I couldn't get logged in.

I'm very hopeful to see what's planned in the future. I know Scott said that a 6" mark mounted jointer would be too heavy, but what if the infeed and out feed tables were made out of cast aluminum and skinned in stainless, the way the mark mounted planer is?

Thanks for the FB post about the forum.
I faithfully checked it for a month or so after the closure.

I am glad it is back up and running. :D

I have not been writing on this forum very often, but it always was my favorite place to read all the questions asked by the members and exploring the subjects that interested me. I am so glad to see that it is back and I will make certain to consult it every day. Thank you to Shopsmith for giving us the forum and I hope everybody behave as a good guest of the company when writing here on this community of Shopsmith users.
Now if I can win a bit of extra money, I would like to bring my 520 up to date with the Power Pro 2, I am getting older and I think it is only a dream on my part and I also live in Canada so it is even more difficult to have it done by Shopsmith.
