When teaching the Traveling Academy for Shopsmith I learned that California has the largest contingency of owners, of which I am one. Just thought you would like to know.

ricknwood.....I don't see your response to the poll question. Us Southwesterners are about to be overtaken by the Centrals.....

Shows what happens when you answer something without reading the directions...

After talking with my good friend and fellow woodworker dicksterp last night my poll response should have been East Central, not North Central! And just to further clear things up (or to confuse you, take your pick) towns= Chicago, Cincinnati, Dayton, Indianapolis, etc.; lakes= Great Lakes, and points of interest= everything contained therein.

First of all, welcome to the forum. I just joined last month and have really learned a lot here. Everyone is real helpful.

Second, sorry of miscategorizing your great area. When I made the poll, I wasn't able to come up with the unique areas of the country since they aren't all defined very well (or at least I wasn't able to find them...must have missed the geography class that covered what to call all the unique regions of the USA :D ).

Again, well aboard!!
