New to Shopsmith
I have seen the Shopsmith tools for years but never had on any hands on experience with them. In in a position where I have limited space. I found a Shopsmith 500 with bandsaw and joiner attachments that has limted hours put on it. I know the table for the saw is smaller than new model and all but Is this a good buy at $300. Many Thx for your thoughts

Snafi,
Welcome to the Shopsmith Forum.
Unless there is something really wrong with it that is a great buy.

Snafi,
I also started with a 500. Paid $200 for it without any attachments. It was an awesome gateway drug! Now I have a 510, a 510 converted to a shorty, and a 520, along with many attachments.
