Woodworking Auctions

Post by tmillie »

Hey Guys. I'm an auctioneer and sometimes we come across some good woodworking auctions in the area. A lot of times they're also marketed online via Proxibid or some other online auction system. From time to time I'll post the link to the auctions. I'd be happy to bid and ship items to you if need be. I'm an auction junkee as well. Here is one I think I'm helping on in April.

If you see any woodworking auctions in your area, feel free to post them here, I love to travel to them.

Any suggestions on how a guy would go about finding auctions in his/her area?

Usually you can find your State Auctioneer Association Website and they should have an auction or auctioneer directory.

Also try the National Auctioneers Association website, they have an auction finder, http://www.auctioneers.org

Then there are also national auction directories on the internet.

I know a lot of auctioneers around the country, what state are you in, I could do some checking in your area to get you more sources.

Most auction companies worth their salt will put their auctions online, you can bid w/o going to the auction in person and they'll line up the shipping and send your items to you. It's a great way to get tools at a discounted price.

Try this website. It's worked for me in the past.
