Good price on Makita 10.8 Lithium Ion kit

Post by putttn »

For those interested I just purchased the Makita 10.8 Lithium Ion kit driver and impact for $129.95 at HD. Don't know if this is a weekend deal but I was glad to get the last one. I'm not associated with Makita or HD, best price I'd seen was $179.00.

Be sure to do a tool review in the Tool review subgroup.

Yes that was a great price. I believe they were on special at Christmas time for $149 and I was tempted then. Then I saw them in clearance at $179 and made a mental note to check on them again. I may buss over to HD today to check it out.

My son has been looking for something like this so I too would like a review. Maybe I'll get him one for his b-day???

Yep that is the set. Snazzy metal carrying case and all! What do you think? Good deal need to have or something that should be passed on?

I've been contemplating the set since last fall when I read some nice reviews on another forum. When I saw these at this price I was able to get the last one at the local HD store here. Haven't used them but did open up the carrying case and looks nice, very small, light and seems pretty powerful. They both had a charge so I could fire em up right away. Nice case to hold all the stuff with room for more attachments etc. that will go with it.
Yes, it is the set from Amazon, the white ones as they said in the other forum. I'll let you know how I like them once we get some warmer weather to go out and stay awhile in the shop.
