Wooden Whistles

Post by wholeshoe »

Whomever posted their site with the project plans thanks!!

I made 2 wooden whistles for my nieces for Easter and gave them to them tonight and they loved them.

It was the first project on my Shopsmith that I made. Easy and simple for a begininng woodworker.

Now I need a new project for the old Shopsmith. Any suggestions for a beginner?

Art, do you have the band saw? A plate shelf would be pretty easy. Band saw the corbels. Dado a groove in the shelf. Drill the corbels for mounting screws.
The older Shopsmiths don't have the hand rubbed finishing capability, though. SS may run a sale on the upgrade later.:D
