Large drawers

This is fantastic! Thanks Dusty. I can see that I should have figured out what kind of slides I was going to use from what you've shown me. Next time I'll know what I want to use as far as slides.

Just a couple more short notes puttn!
The easy way to size your drawers is to wait until you build the frame to make the drawers. That way you don't have to do any math, and don't even have to measure, if you use a story stick.

Another note: Good drawer slides cost a pretty penny!!!! You will never regret shelling out for a high quality full extension slide.

I do have a story stick and the book I've been reading on cabinets by Tom Clark talks about just that. I've never built anything like this so it's all a new learning experience. The help you've given me really has given me a sense of just how it will look and what I need to cut and by how much. What a great way to learn from a great bunch of guys...thank you. Especially Dusty.
