DC3300 FINALLY repaired.
I finally repaired my DC3300, the bolt that holds the impeller broke AGAIN. I finally had to drill the old bolt out and run tap through it to make sure the threads were good. I tried to use an ez-out, but found out the threads were messed up. WHAT a MESS when ya have to take the hood off.
SS 500(09/1980), DC3300, jointer, bandsaw, belt sander, Strip Sander, drum sanders,molder, dado, biscuit joiner, universal lathe tool rest, Oneway talon chuck, router bits & chucks and a De Walt 735 planer,a #5,#6, block planes. ALL in a 100 square foot shop.

I am glad that you were able to recover from this failure. Hopefully, this fix shall be a lasting one.
