If A = B, then A + B = 2A. correct?

If you can agree to that, then

A + B - 2B = 2A - 2B

so then

A - B = 2(A - B)

so then

(A - B) / (A - B) = 2 ((A - B) / (A - B))

so then

1 = 2

I don't expect you to rack your brains out on this one but if you know any up and coming college math hot shots that are too big for their britches, give this to them and see if they can disprove it.
