Sharpening

Post by robinson46176 »

I bought one of these (see link) recently at a yard sale. It is a Veritas tool rest and sharpening jig. It was missing the little plastic angle gauge but I have other angle gauges. It has never been used or even mounted to a bench. Not a mark on it anywhere. I saw it across a table of stuff and went over to see the price. When I saw the $8 tag I didn't put it back down. :)
The kind of funny thing was that there were no other tools in the sale and there were no tools in the garage. It was definitely not a DIY location.
I believe I will be able to put it to good use.
