Here's a PDF file of the owner's manual for the Zyliss Vise.

The Zyliss Vise is as others have mentioned a truly fine vise. Mine first one was purchased at a home and garden show in Denver at least thirty years ago. I bought a second about three years ago from Ebay. I wouldn't trade either of them. fjimp

Dave

You woke up my memory, as now that you have brought this up, I remember also when they came out and it was on my wish list then as it was quite pricey but then as time went by I forgot all about it. It would be great to find one in good condition for a price like you paid for yours. Some folks find all the deals.

I believe the GripMaster Vise by Clark National Products is identical, just without the Zyliss name cast into the aluminum.I was fortunate to find a Zyliss at a garage sale. Great addition to any workbench. It's one of those products that once you have one ,it's hard to imagine how you got along without it.

Harbor Freight sold a knock off of this vise a few years ago.
Was like $40. Wish I had picked one up. It was only available for a short time.

Zyliss Vise....

Post by derk »

For those of you who know about the Zyliss Vise, and appreciate the design & quality of the Vise, and for those of you who now have learned about the tool; there is additional information available on the internet. Just Google the word Zyliss, or search Ebay for Zyliss, and you will discover some additional
items that they manufacture. For instance, they make probably the best
can opener, and some other kitchen items, such as a salad spinner. Excellent Quality....Well worth the money...ENJOY.....
