Extension Table Brackets?

Post by alancooke »

Hey everyone,

I'm thinking about getting the extension table brackets (555997 pg. 37 of Father's Day catalog) but had two questions first:

1)Has anyone else ordered them and do you like them?

2)I have read a lot in several threads about modifying the outfeed table to adjust and tilt along with the main table. Do these brackets create the desired effect, or I am missing something? The picture in the catalog looks like these brackets create an outfeed table that essentially becomes an integral part of the main table.

Thanks,

Alan

Yes I have the extension table brackets. Yes, they will tilt along with the table. The problem the outfeed table folks are addressing is the ability to adjust with height changes. The SS brackets just won't do this without adjusting the support leg/legs. I use mine mostly for infeed tables with my home made sled.

Thanks, I see now! You can't see the support leg(s) in the catalog and for some reason I was under the impression that these connected them in a rigid fashion. Just didn't look/think hard enough:)
