So this means you DO plan on taking it? It's a lot of fun. VERY frustrating at times...a good mental challenge. We all need the brain exercise every now and then!
Well, this is what I said:
... Perhaps, sometime in the future, I may have more time and desire. :o
But do knot worry, Mike! If/when I choose to do so, my "No" vote will knot deter me! :D

I had to vote no.
It isn't that I am opposed... It's just priority. There are simply 4 or 5 million other things I want to do that are in line ahead of it. :)
I rarely work from plans on my own woodworking and tend to change them a lot when I do. I do most woodworking out of my head or from a picture. I can work from plans, I just don't want to... :D
I took some drafting at BSU about 48 years ago but my type of woodworking by choice generally doesn't need it.
I have reached the age where I choose to only do things I enjoy and while I was formerly a technophile I no longer enjoy that approach to life.
Just this month I made the decision to discontinue haymaking. One day while laying on the ground under the baler making repairs I concluded that it just wasn't fun anymore. :p
Now I'm going to go talk to the horses then head for the woodshop and pretend that I will someday get it organized. :)

I voted "yes" but haven't actually started yet. We are leaving for my wife's family reunion in IA this week and I just don't have time to dedicate to it right now. After we return on 6 Aug. I'll get started.

From what others say it sounds like it should not only be fun but also profitable in the knowledge and practical use areas.

I watch the videos, they can be paused, and more importantly, they can be played over and over.

Jim, YouTube doesn't allow the "end-user" access to download other people's videos, but you can download the ones you've posted yourself. I've checked the code behind the download button and I THINK I've got it hacked. Let me know if THISworks, and if so, I'll give you the links to the others. This should download the rail construction video for lesson 5.

I voted no.

When doing some research on how to use SU I quickly learned that there is more than one way to do the same thing. I was reading more than one source of information and was getting very confused. I decided to buy a book and follow that, and only that, source of information. When I gain more experience I will explore other outlets of information for more knowledge.

I think it is great one would take the time to teach others. I am sure one could learn a lot using the info that has been given here. I would just recommend to start with one source and stick to it.
