Anyone turning on a 10ER?

Post by sasjzl »

Has anyone out there done any turning on a 10ER? I am just starting to turn and wanted to know if there are any hints or tips I should know about. Is there a way to slow the speed down with getting the coveted speed reducer setup?

Thanks very much,
Jim Lee

There is a lot of us out there doing that and if you go to this group and you will find a lot of others turning with them. I turn with an ER, 510 and also Rikon lathe. You will find a lot of good uses for your ER.
Good luck, and enjoy using a different machine.

Is there any way I can look at this list without signing up for Yahoo?

Thanks very much,

I do all my pen turning on a 10e and I also have a 10er, would not trade them for the world. My 10e has a speed changer on it that comes in handy on certain turnings, and I also belong to the yahoo group, wealth of nollage and a great bunch of guys that can help with all sorts of stuff.
