Dimensions, Weight, Etc..Shopsmith Products

Post by tmillie »

I need to know how much this items weights and it's height/width:

Shopsmith Power Station: I want to have one shipped to me from a friend of mine.

I thought this could be a handy reference thread in case people buy or sell Shopsmith items need to get shipping estimated. So for now, if any of you have a power station, can you give me the approx. weight, height and width of it.

Thanks in advance. Tom M.

If you are going to 'ship' it I recommend disassembling the motor and legs etc. It would be much smaller, and the motor needs to be retained by something other than the 'mounts' to the sheet metal top.

Good point...I'm not shipping it, I'm receiving it, so I will ask the "shipper" if they can break it down for me prior to shipping. Thanks - I've heard these are around 80lbs, does that sound about right?

That is probably not too far off! When I get a chance, I will go out and measure some things.
