JDS AccuMiter Gauge - opinions?

Post by bobgroh »

There is one of these being sold on good ol' Ebay. Price right now quite low (probably won't stay there). Any opinions on it?

I see that it has an adjustable miter bar...will it fit a Mark V? It does have some nice features. I think I am partial to the adjustability of the Incra V120, myself. Here is a nice review of JDS model.

I have one for my Unisaw. It is a well built miter gauge with an add on clamp and fence. I works great for a lot of things and is a good cut off guide. Accuracy is adjustable and locks in at some major angles. However being well built and heavy it is not user friendly on smaller work. If I were buying for my SS I would opt for the Incra.
