found 1955 Magna 500
I ran across an old Magna machine with bandsaw, scrollsaw, belt sander and lots of "parts" It is all pretty well taken care of, but also well used. ( serial # is from 1955) The head stock was rebuilt about 10 years ago and " has not been used much" sense.
Belt sander is the only thing I need. All seemed to in usable condition, but all well need significant work. ( am not really to good at that, althought the belt sander seems simple enough) Some parts are not available on the shop smith site. It never drew a bid on Ebay, and I can get it for $250 or maybe less.
I thought I might part out the stuff I don't need, and repair the belt sander. Any thoughts? ( local so no shipping issues) I tried to attach a picture, but the
URL address does not work. Sorry:o
