Well, it's nice to know that I'm not the only one with issues on items ordered. Yesterday I received the sanding disk, sand paper, and a dvd that doesn't work. The sharpening jig wasn't in the package. I assume that since I called a few days ago, someone decided to go ahead and send me a portion of my order. I guess it's better than nothing, but I really need that jig. The DVD is the freebee that was offered if you order before a certain day (outdoor projects). Apparently the licensing agreement for the software that actually runs the thing has expired. You have to go to another website to get the software that runs it, and they charge you $20 for it.

I also received the cd a while back, but I had not tried to 'play' it(notice I called it a [CD] not a [DVD]). I have NOW done so and had NO problems accessing the contents using my computer.

I only looked at a couple of projects and successfully copied(pdf file) the glass case plans.

Re the 'partial shipment, that is NOT unusual! They will ONLY charge for the initial shipping charges. Any back-order shipment will be shipped at no charge. Also they do not charge your credit card(or whatever) until it IS shipped. I understand your frustration at not having ALL you need and that what you DID get is not useful without the 'rest', but consider that you WILL get the last item shipped free!

Finally, finally, finally,,,,,, I received my sharpening jig, that I ordered back in July. Got it on friday, assembled it last night. This afternoon, I try my hand at sharpening chisels with it. I would have done it yesterday, but I need to finish my current project first.

Sorry for being so slow. A TWIC card is a Transportation Workers Identification Card. Required to enter sea ports without escort. I'm retired now and don't need it anymore.

I must have ordered twice in that period, cause I got two of the CDs, both of which work.
If someone wants the extra copy, let me know and I'll mail it to ya.
