I ordered parts over five weeks ago and submitted my order on line.
The order is yet to be shipped and I have attempted many contacts with Shopsmith to no avail. I have been left on hold for up to 40 minutes on the phone. I sent an email over a week ago and still not reply.
I have read some of the posts that indicate the financial problems that Shopsmith is having at this time. I don't think the signs are very good at this point. If Shopsmith were having a temporary setback that they would be making a statement. They are losing a lot of money but at least letting customers know that this is a temporary setback. I really enjoy using this machinery and hope for their rebound. Houlerhoule
Does anyone have updated info on Shopsmith?

I don't know why you would ask that question here. We don't know anything about your order and what we do know about our own orders (experiences) has nothing to do with your order.
I trust that you have followed up with Shopsmith Customer Service (1-800-543-7586).
I further trust that you have checked your order status on line.

I'm very surprised that you have not had good results with customer service. I had no problem getting through to them a couple of weeks ago. They bent over backwards to make a partial shipment of my order and spent extra time checking on the ETA for the rest of my stuff.
They are short staffed. I'd give them another call.
Keep us posted.

I am saddened to hear of your experience. As long as this forum is up and running, we have proof that ShopSmith is up and running too. I feel confident that they will emerge from this set-back in good shape.houlerhoule wrote:I ordered parts over five weeks ago and submitted my order on line.

Wood you care to share with us which items are on your order?

Finally Got Thru to Shopsmith!
Called early AM and got customer service. Most of what I ordered should be shipped out by next week. The operator told me that there was only two people to answer the phones in customer service. Admitted that Shopsmith was having some difficulties right now like other businesses but felt optimistic that Shopsmith would work through its problems.

I feel glad for you for two reasons: 1) You will soon 'get' your ordered parts. 2) Your concern re ss status has been 'relieved'.
I compliment you on your 'attitude' re your wait and concern relative to ss 'condition'. There have been others with similar concerns which have NOT reacted as civil as you!
