ShopSmith made adult toy

Post by efmaron »

This is a gulf cart that I made for my brother in law, his is burgandy so using cherry was a no brainer. The top is aspen, the bags are oak and the clubs are 1/8" dowel and basswood.

efmaron. Here is something that I, even as a non golfer, can enjoy. Great job
I keep finding little windows on this forum, that I don't really know what they do. So sometimes I experiment. Probably shouldn't do that, I know in my shop it can get me into trouble.

Another great project on the SS!

Looks neat and should add class to any desk.

Thanks for the coments, I enjoy this kind of projects because it combines table saw, bandsaw, routing and a lot of hand shaping. The planes are from Toys and Joys (link below) the planes come full size. I like to trace the shapes on poster board and then use those patterns to trace onto the wood and they can be used over many times.

Cool!! Your brother in law should be real appreciative with that cart. You will not find one like that anywhere. Great idea and excellent craftsmanship and creativity. Kudos!!
