We have a $100 unilateral spending limit with each other, no approval needed. Anything over $100 requires conference. (plus begging, crying, justification, threatening, etc.) My $1200 Cannondale road bike for example..pondered for a week how to convince her.....threw it out there one evening prepared for the interrogation and without getting past my opening statement, she said "Great idea, you can pay for it with your bonus".

Since I'm under the $100, I should just break it out......but that would take away all the fun I want to have with it.

How much does leave you for the cost of restoration?

What makes you think that the One Who Knows All doesn't already know, and is waiting for YOU to make a puppy-eyed, whimpering fool of yourself?

A Portuguese Puerto Rican born and raised in Manhattan would not be able to hold that back I guarantee. I know her too well.

re winter.....We will see 30 degree temperature drops day to night in San Diego.....68 down to a bone chilling 48!!

Jpg, why not put 2 1X4's on the way tubes, set your jounter on them. Then have 2 boards under the tubes, and bolt em together. Better to lift the jointer from the tubes, tan the floor.
SS 500(09/1980), DC3300, jointer, bandsaw, belt sander, Strip Sander, drum sanders, molder, dado, biscuit joiner, universal lathe tool rest, Oneway talon chuck, router bits & chucks and a De Walt 735 planer,a #5,#6, block planes. ALL in a 100 square foot shop.
