Hey, I just realized that I don't have a Mark VII guard at all that I can recall, upper or lower. Now I have to do some looking at what I have and see what fits.
Since I don't generally saw with the SS's other than with my 510 it never came up. I have kind of felt that I should sort of "save" my best Mark VII for jobs that only it can do better than the others. Stuff like tipping the body to the left for running the quill up through from under the table for shaping etc. or running in reverse.
As a result of "saving" it I am not as hands-on familiar with it as I would like. I'm probably missing out on a lot of good things.
I need to walk down to the shop today and look at that Mark VII and various guards and dust collection stuff while this thread is still fresh in my mind.
