Way to go, Dave!

Crisp-looking job, and a nice display system as well!

That is a nice looking cabinet, Dave! Are you doing an entire kitchen?

Nice work

I know about "far from perfect", but it is fun to put something out that is nice and you know how good it feels. If you are like me you learned a lot doing this and the next one will be better!:) Way to go, and don't sell your work short!

Say Dave,

Did you use the bisquit joiner to put the face frame together or did you use the drill press to drill pocket holes for screws? Or did you use dowels? Also, what method did you use to square the face frame?

Great job Dave. I admire how great it looks. Its hard to believe that is your first one. I am curious about stain issue on test boards. Have the test boards been sanded, run thru a jointer or planer or cut on your saw? The reason I ask is that I used poplar for a couple of projects and didn't have that problem. I friend was surprised at my success with stain. The only difference we could isolate is that he used a spray on his table surfaces and I used the Johnson original paste wax. Again great job you have no reason question your work. Jim
