Fold Up Step Stool

Post by curiousgeorge »

I recently saw a video on YouTube showing a guy building a step stool from free wood. It looked like a fun project so I decided to give it a try. He didn't give all the measurements so I have included a pic of them. The video can be found HERE. You will need to watch the video to see how to assemble the stool if you decide to build it.

George,
That is real nice job. I like your plan that was really cool. It's items like that that got my interest in woodworking. Thanks for sharing.

I made one of these about 4 years ago to use in the tent when I go camping. It makes a great end table next to my cot.

My son found a table at a yard sale built just like this stool. With your plans, I think I could measure the table and make one just like it. Add two stools and you would have a nice kids gift.;)
