I had a pantry cabinet build for my wife. The problems is now all the food is getting pushed to the back or there is alot of wasted space. For instance the picture with the cans. I try to stack them but they keep falling. I was looking to build some removable/adjustable shelves to stack all the stuff on.

but did you see the gift the Cats were given by the Sun Devils during the waning moments of regulation play. There are fumbles and there are errors caused by "momentary loss of brain function".

I am a Wildcat and Cornhusker fan but facts are facts. The Cats were handed this one. Will next week end be pay back time? I'm not sure they deserve a bowl position yet.

Navcop: Build a simple tiered shelf. A flat board(horizontal) on two vertical ends. You could put a front face on them if you needed to prevent stuff from sliding under it. The face need not be all the way up. For canned goods a stepped design might work.
Pick the height with forethought to what might be stored on top/under.

Also store multiple items behind each other rather than side by side.

Another option wood be to install slide-out shelves. You can then access even the very back of the shelves easily.

That's the route I took. Side mount.

Yes, that is the way. Make sure you buy the right drawer glides. You probably want those that allow full extension of your drawers. Of course those do cost more, but you may knot be happy with glides that do knot allow full extension.

Wouldn't that be to heavy? I understand not using it for the cans, but how about on the top shelf?

They rate the glides and the full extension glides have good weight ratings. Here is the site of a wholesale housethat I buy from.

I was curious as to what burl wood is. I see it is caused by fungus/insects in the tree. It is prized for its shape and ring patterns. The article also said burl was harder to work with. I guess any tree can be burl (i.e. maple, walnut, oak, etc)? Does this sound about right? Anything else you can add?
