For the occasional use by a hobbyist, lots of bits for price. You get what you pay for in this life, couldn't have expected them to be made anyplace else than China. Will suit my uses for now. So far have used them in pine, do not seem to expel chips like I thought they should and seem to run hot if pushed too much. Would rather have a plastic case, the cheap wood case they came in will keep them from rattling around and dinging the cutting edges. "

Purchased for a really good price! What does that tell you about the origin? It tells me - not made in the USA and probably not made in Europe!

I have a set of brad point bits purchased at Woodcraft for "that really good price" - not made in the USA. I get a few holes drilled with each bit and then they are too dull to use.

You get no more than you pay for.

I will try to keep this thought in mind. Guess ordering a sized product and assuming the product is to size is foolish now a day. Thanks for the warning.

I have always thought that Rockler was one of the places to turn to if I wanted to buy QUALITY products. If that was ever true, maybe it is no more.
