I just watched a couple of Nicks sawdust sessions. It appears he doesn't wear any hearing protection.

After thinking about it I decided I'd go with a F16, at the 1/500 sec and 400 iso film. This yields a EV of 15 which seem about right for the sunny day. Now to make someone very happy I'll shoot it at F22.

Then I take the broken camera and reset the ISO to 100, change the f-stop to 11 and the speed to 1/250 sec. and make sure I had my uv filter on. At this point the hot sun would cause me to die on the spot. At some point in the future they would find the camera and look at the pictures and wonder who would go this far to get a picture of grass in AZ.

On Nick's chisel shaping video he is using a disk. I know there are certain grits you have to use, but are there certain disk you need? I.E. aluminum oxcide or is it just a regular sanding disk?

A true story! Once upon a time: - - - Sometime in the 1960s, in Montana, a beautiful elderly woman who was very active in social and community affairs read a government document that really upset her. Although she didn't know it, she was classified as "one of the poor". The government had figured out that anyone having an annual income of less than $2,000 was "Poor". She had never thought of herself as poor, and to be arbitrarily put into this category upset her tremendously!

I thought I knew how she felt, but today got a stinger that made me think more of her situation. There was a TV news clip today that reported builders are refurbishing houses for poor folks in Riverside County, CA.

Those poor folks were class as those making less than $77,000 per year. Wow! Think the LOML and I just made the "pauper list".

Oh! on secod thought, we are O.K. for a while, as we don't live in Riverside County.
