Other than the SS 500 I have a vintage Dewalt RAS, and a 25 year old Makita table saw. Alec

Another saw-Sure do!

I do most of my crosscutting and mitres on my Milwaukee 10" compound mitre saw (could not justify the cost of a sliding compound mitre since I have a ss510). I love the set up of the mitre saw--I bought a mitre saw utility vehicle made by Ridgid. It's super sturdy and folds down like a furniture dolly with the saw attached and rolls away for storage just like a dolly. Sweet!!

Sheet goods are done with my Milwaukee 71/2" circular saw.

But I couldn't do without my super handy Japanese hand saw.

I have a Delta/Rockler with 3 horse motor which i use alot. I have a craftsman talble saw and radial Arm saw that i use to store stuff on. I have a chop saw for quick cutoffs or to quickly approximately size something.

I will frequently have SS and delta in use for different setups for a project.:)

I have a table saw, 12" compound miter saw, and a circular saw. Each has its own function. I find the height of the SS saw is not as convenient as the conventional table saw.

Ed-

I actually flip flop, depending on how messy my shop gets. I'll either get brave and try to manhandle a sheet of 3/4 in 4x8 MDF onto the SS or break out my Ryobi cordless. IF the MDF prove to be a bit more than my tinker toy can handle, I pull out an old saw I purchased one year to build a fence. Anything thinner than 3/4 (1/2" or 1/4") gets the SS treatment.

A Skillsaw and a chop saw for projects like building decks, sheds, and such - only reason is for their portability. I save the SS for my finer projects - visit http://www.manvell.org to see some samples.

Miter saw, radial arm saw, 30" bandsaw, 11" bandsaw (SS), Unisaw. All of them get used, in conjunction with my SS, on pretty much every project I do.

This is for Andy (Manvelar), nice looking shop how big is it? Nice projects also. Whats the procedure in making your bread nives if I might ask? Also I got to ask why 2 drill presses and the shopsmith can be a drill press that makes three?
Anyway keep up the good work and hope things go well at the starving artist show.

I have a radial arm saw that I use for crosscutting and a miter saw I use for cutting miters and crosscutting small pieces.

I was considering buying a table saw, but opted for the 520 upgrade instead. I'm glad I did.
