I bought another 10ER, I have 3 now. The latest addition was located in Jacksonville, FL. It looked like it had been restored. I lucked out and was the only bidder. Now I have two 10ER in Florida that I have to bring up to NJ. I had picked up another used one which had a speed changer with the pulley off so a single belt could be used. But the pulley was in a box.
Update: I picked up and 10ER. So that makes four 10ERs, two 10Es, and 4 Marks ( One Greenie, one 500, one 510, and one 520) My wife has forbid me to buy any more...lol. So I found a South Bend machine lathe. My new wood shop is gonna be too small!

One Greenie, Two Mark 7s,Three 510s and much more…
Currently, I've got one of each. In the past, an ER.
And, 2 of my brothers have ERs, and my best friend has 2. One of my brothers has a converted E model, with the ER extension table and tailstock He also has the E tailstock and aluminum bracket for the ext table. Got the first, before the Internets were born, so no Forums about Shopsmiths for info. Also, the first came with no paperwork, so it was trial and error to learn. Still have all 10 digits, so my guesses were OK. (Try figuring out the ER fence, with no instructions.)

1) I put my 10 in the E category due to the cast iron headrest. Sorry to say it's still in pieces in the basement.
2) Thanks guys. After 11 anti-virus installs ( can't push them because there is no domain ), a system rebuild due to the blue screen of death ( no tools like Ghost available ), 11 hardware/software surveys, and HP resolving performance issues for the Solution Center which caused an hour long update I will now be up until 2 AM in the Internet2 neighborhood.
3) Because of (2), (1) isn't going anywhere soon.

SN E 3779 Acquired Jan 18, 2010. At least 2 previous owners( the original owner's name is in the 'documentation' and it is not the same as the person from whom I obtained it). Not only that, the immediate past owner wasn't born until after the original owner bought it new from Shillito's in Cincinnati. I am guessing 1948.
P.S. For some reason the 'documentation folder' included a manual for a 4E jointer. Any body want/need a copy? Just tell me how to scan into a pdf with what software I have. NO 'office', but do have open office but I am ignorant of how to use it! My HP scan/... seems to handle one page at a time.
