Just put it out there, If you just want it gone someone is coming probably today. If not but for parts just give out your wants and needs and some one again will be contacting you. I take all the parts I can find and then pass them on to others to help save some of these machines from salvage.
Thanks
Thanks
Bill

From what I've seen on eBay, there seems to be plenty of people paying for those hard to find parts (if yours has them). I'd part it out and put the money back into my primary 10ER restore.tkhudson wrote:Is there a market for 10E parts? Ive recently come across one that I PROBABLY wont have time or space to mess with. What I got was a basic working machine sans accessories. All I wound up with was the main part of the tail stock. Fortunately this is #2 Morse Taper so most of my MK V stuff will fit. The main thing I am seeing is that this headstock is WAY tighter than my greenie (single bearing). I think I am going to "re-do" this one after I finish my greenie and use it as a dedicated boring machine with a little break once in a while for bowl turning. My only regret at present is that it will set back the restoration of my Sawsmith RAS, but it is what it is. Ya gotta love Freecycle, I didnt pay a dime for any of these great pieces of history

your freecycle is better than mine, I was looking for these old machines that are being dumped and was told I could not be on free cycle since she knows what a high dollar machine Magna and SS are so banned me from the site. Not too sure what keeping from the dump she thinks is going on. My first pieces for a MKV was gather from someone that kept the motor and a few other parts and put the rest at the curb for the trash to pick up and they did. All I was requesting was any old or rusted machines that they were going to throw away of wanted out of the garage or storage.
So I don't look at free cycle anymore but do look at free on craigs list and also tools. Got more from that than the other. I post all of my free on craigslist now. I guess it who is monitoring the site at each city. Got the motor and parts later once he knew I liked SS so the parts would not go to waste. Put the motor in an old greenie that my brother found in KC that had a bad motor.
