Tool Review - (carving Knife)

Post by cv3 »

I am not sure that this tool review will be of interest to many of you. But there are a few of you that are cavers also.
Like all of us I search for tools that fulfill my needs. I have bought a number of carving knives over the years. And while most have been fine and worked well I wanted something more. I wanted a longer handles, a fuller grip with that good cutting blade. I have found what for me and the way I carve, is an outstanding tool/carving knife. I ordered two new knives from Preferred Edge Carving Knives. They are hand made in Canada. One 3 inch rough out knife and a detail knife both with 7 3/4 inch handles. Both feel balanced and have the fuller grip I wanted. I used them for a number of hours the last few day and my hands did not get tired. I was pleased the way they worked in both soft and hard woods. If you have a need for a quality carving knife I found these to be well worth the investment
Make today a day that lets you smile!
