I'm back (I hope that's a good thing)
Hey everybody,
After being away for awhile (but lurking), I decided that I would try this again. All of you are much more experienced Shopsmith users and woodworkers than I am. It would be foolish of me not to take advantage of that.
I know the last time I was here I upset many people and I sincerely apologize. I will endeavor not to be so argumentative.
I will not be using PM, so I have provided my e-mail address below.
Within the last two weeks I acquired a standalone overarm router and a Sawsmith 2000 via Craigslist, so I have lots of new questions, especially about the table saw. When I got the overarm router I sold a Jet mortising machine and a Rockler router table which paid for both items and a pair of tires!
Sincerely,
Ron309753

Hi Ron,
I just pulled my OAR out of storage and used it to cut some toy parts and a recess for a pistol for a presentation box.
Maybe we can share some experiences and techniques.

Ron, welcome
I was looking at a 2000 sometime ago and wish I had picked it up. Was a little high but in like new shape and with a great fence upgrade on it. I don't have a OAR yet but still looking
Good Luck

I didn't realize there were disagreements on here. I just thought it was that we all had our own opinions and were not only etitled to but expected to express them. This is a great place to get information from others.
I keep finding little windows on this forum, that I don't really know what they do. So sometimes I experiment. Probably shouldn't do that, I know in my shop it can get me into trouble.
