Shopsmith scroll saw belt replacement??

Anyone know the secret on how to replace the drive belt on a Shopsmith stand-alone teal scroll saw?

I replaced mine about two years ago. Wish I knew a secret. The belt is fairly well buried. If I recall correctly, you pop off the snap rings on the shaft ends and and slip off parts until you can slide the shafts back to slip the belt on. Tedious ,but not too hard. Made me wish mine was the MarkV mount, no belt!Love the Scroll Saw. Until recently my shop looked like a scene out of American Pickers http://www.history.com/content/american-pickers. The Scroll Saw was my go to tool while my MarkV was buried. Maybe a call to customer service is in order,they may have detailed instructions available. Belt replacement is not covered in the manual.

Thanks for the information. Called Shopsmith and they emailed me instructions.
