Tornado hooks

Post by mbcabinetmaker »

I discovered these hooks at HD while looking for something to hang some miter gauges on. They work very well, come two to a pack for 17.95 and are made in the good old USA.

They were on the isle with other hooks and peg board accessories close to the hardware isle.

I found this rack at Lowe’s last year. It was in the area of the wire closet fixtures and shelving. It has worked well for keeping things organized. The hooks also fit on the wire closet shelves.

If you like that coating buy some Plasticote and you can turn any peg board hooks into a custom coated hook. Works great for many different things. I even used it to repair a flyfishing line that had some of the coating come off.

I paid our local big box store a visit today. They have several configurations of the Tornado Hooks. I also like the screws. They will be a handy addition to my shop. Jim
