In a Hands-On video Nick Engler used a Dial Indicator Guage that was held in a magnetic lock down for precise knife depth setting. This magnetic hold-down seems like it would be real handy. Anyone know where I could find this hold down? Shopsmith does not sell and I have searched the usual woodworking sites. No luck yet. Would appreciate any leads.
thanks.

Those magnetic hold downs are pretty commom in automotive stores. I think that you can also get them at such places as Grizzly and Harbor Freight. I personally like Central Tool (knot to be confused with the import Cen Tech). They are a quality tool and mostly made in the US.
