Steve - Along with all the good wishes (including mine in post #8) already given, here is a piece of practical advice LOML has suggested I send you:
Cancer is insidious and tends to take over your entire life - Don't let that happen. It may be difficult, but you both still need to keep life as normal as possible and ignore the problems even if you can only do that for an hour a week. Make the time to occasionally do the things that used to float your boat - Both of you.
It is very easy to lose all normality while dealing with the treatments and limitations. Periodically take time to be together, and exclude the disease at least for a short while. It is an unwelcome guest, and you have the right to reserve personal time away from it. You could lose yourself if you aren't careful to hold on to some patches of normal living.
LOML & I have been there and done that, and we did get lost for a while until we deliberately took our lives back.
Feel free to PM me if you just want to chat or vent, or would like some pointers on how to keep some part of your selves outside the cancer's influence. Our battle took 5 years and concluded successfully 5 years ago, unfortunately with some permanent residual damage. We have our second chance, & I wish the same for you two.

I am a very new member but not new to the aweful and insidious disease called cancer. I lost both my mother and father to the disease. My father only survived 2 years after diagnosis, my mother passed away at the very early age of 49. I hate this disease more than anything on the face of this beautiful earth and would give up everything I have if I could discover a total cure for it. Both my wife and I will have you and your beautiful wife in our thoughts and prayers. My hope is that they caught it early and this will just be a minor speed bump in the road of life for you both. Godspeed to both of you!

Well, it is done!
Sorry to take so long getting back to ya'll, and God Bless each & every one of ya!
There appears to be NO cancer in the Sentinel node nor two others right near it! However, the hysterectomy was a tough surgery, but was successful.
Biopsies will show us more, but it looks real good.
She is on a no food or liquid diet for two days. Her hospital stay will be 3-5 days.
I'm beat!
Keep up the prayers, and thanks again.
