Yes, it works on mine but the downloaded file does not. The taging is not recognized by Quicktime. I can watch it as a streaming file but on a slow line it tends to stop and go. The other three work just fine.
Also I like to go back and forth and thus a downloaded version is much preferred.
I have been with the Mac since the Apple ][ and I have learned lots of work arounds but this one has me stopped.

The over arm router session is still not right. I am a Mac user and when I download to watch it, a screen comes up and says it is not a wmv or quicktime. The other three sessions are fine. I choose to download and watch as it is herky jerky in real time.

I have a Mac, too. You will need the Shockwave Flash plug-in for the archived sessions, not Quicktime or Windows Media.

Maybe I am not being clear enough. I have all the latest and greatest updates. The file plays fine. It is the downloaded version that won't be seen by either Quicktime or Windows media player.
That usually means an identy tag of some sort is missing that those programs rely on. I suppose I could go in an restore it but very time consuming.
My flash works fine. As a retired educator and the one my small community relies on to get their Macs working properly I assure you I have been there and done that and have several T-shirts.
My experience is that the MS thinking often just forgets there are alternatives. When mentioning I have a Mac it is like telling someone that has Jet or Delta machines that I have a Shopsmith. I am used to strange looks.
With the Mac OS on the rise especially in the laptop sales we can no longer be ignored by the other side.

I believe in your comment you are speaking of watching a prerecorded session and NOT a live session. Is that correct?
If yes, then my question. What do you mean by your comment "I choose to download and watch it....". Are you actually pulling it off the website and viewing it independent of the web?

That is correct. Even though I have a fairly fast connection (fiber optic) there is still some stop and go and jerky times. I download and play at my leisure.
I do the same with the videos that Woodworking Online put up. I can go to my shop set my SS up and if need be go back to the video to double check.
Some would raise the copyright issue but this comes under "fair use". As an educator and I am well aware of that part of the law.
As a professional photographer I am also very sensitive to the unfair use of my photos.

In the lower right corner of the video screen is a google button. That brings up a screen with a download button.
As a 30yr+ veteran of the HS Biology classroom simply watching a video how to will not do the entire job. I used to present an idea, have the student do some lab. experience (hands on), have the student look at possible other questions and continue the hands on exploration. The library and texts were available for reference in solving the problem.
Learning woodworking is no different. An idea is presented, out to the shop you go, questions are raised and back to the video for reference, then reinforcement in the shop again. The technique or idea becomes a learned concept.
