1950's SHOPSMITH for sale on eBay $99.99

Post by PG-Zac »

I'm watching eBay for parts for my Goldie, & I found this machine for sale at a hundred bucks.

It looks to be complete, including several saw blades, mortice tool, sanding disk, flex shaft, mitre gauge, dado cutter etc.

It might be worth looking at for someone in New Jersey.

Hey PG,
I won this Mark V tonight. Cost was $99.99 and it is about an hours drive from where I live to pick it up. I figured for $100 I would go get it. It has several parts that my Mark VII did not come with and looks like it just needs the same treatment I just gave my Mark VII. I will pick it up and see what needs to be done. I will probably completely rebuild it like I did my Mark VII and then decide what to do with it. If I keep it I will mount either the scroll saw or jointer to it so I don't have to keep moving stuff around. It comes with the moulder and a few other odds and ends I don't have so I will have a use for most of it.

There are a couple of Greenies and a 10ER on the Wichita KS Craig's List. Any enthusiasts in that area of the country?
