Moving In My Future
Well folks after over two years of trying to sell our home it appears we may be moving somewhere around May 1. Yesterday we received a low but workable cash offer. We now await the results of the inspection. If all goes well in two weeks we will visit Denver to look for the new home for my bride and I and our favorite toys. Our daughter and Granddaughter are more than ready for our move to be over. Hopefully more info later. Jim

Gosh Chuck are you suggesting the winter garments in storage for 17 years may be moth eaten:( I am kidding of course. Yes we feel fortunate to have some winter wear bought when we spent Christmas there two years ago. Jimcharlese wrote:My best wishes and good Luck!!!! You may have to buy some new outer garments!

Winter wear in storage? I would have thought that you had plenty of opportunities this last winter to use that winter wear!]

Thanks for the Welcome Dave. My bride and I each lived some 50 years in Denver prior to moving to Virginia. Jan is originally from La Junta, I grew up and owned a business in Lakewood for many years. We can hardly wait to return "Home.":D:D:D Jim

Count on our having used it heavily the last several weeks. The storage crack was my limited attempt at humor. I am sitting here today trying to decide whether to repair the snow blower or sell it prior to moving. JimSDSSmith wrote:Jim,

Oh, then you guys are not Colorado winter rookies. I have friends in La Junta and have coached many Football games around there. I have at times needed my winter coat down there!!!!fjimp wrote:Thanks for the Welcome Dave. My bride and I each lived some 50 years in Denver prior to moving to Virginia. I will be pleased to be in touch with you. Who knows it may be Arvada. Lakewood is first choice. Our daughter lives on Green Mountain. Hopefully by early May we will be moving in. I keep having nightmares about getting my shop together again. Then again I have a feeling it will take the next month to pack it. The other concern I have is that my wife seems to want a nice house and a large room for her quilting operation to go with the shop:rolleyes: Jim
