Speed dial not working
Today i was turning a pen my SS was working fine in the drill press position .But when i put it in the lathe position and tryed to turn up the speed it ground then just gave way. I then opened the the SS logo oppisite the main drive one the only thing i saw wrong was that a key looked like ti was missing on the shaft where you hook your jointer up to. And does the spring mechanism that looks like a mouse trap have anything to do with my problem? Sorry for the lack of correct names of the parts i bought my SS used with no part book. So if anybody could help me with my problem it would greatly appreciated. Thanks, Allen

Providing a bit of info about yourself, in your personal profile, might be helpful. Who knows, you might live just around the corner from a Shopsmith technician. Think about it, No Name.
