Interesting that the headstock and motor were cantilevered over the 'head rest'.

well i got into the resto pretty good today striped painted and the boards lacquered . I decided on a metallic color for all of the large iron below the bars , the houseing and the bottom legs are black .

I got a couple of things finished tonight
I decided to sand down the boards to 220 and leave the top up imkind of like the old dings and dents .
