Thanks, trying to document as best I can. I will try to get a document together and post on the specifics of the power source if you guys think it would be worth while?beeg wrote:NICE setup. Loved ALL the pics.

Are you saying that you believe the process will work with only a 5 volt supply? I didn't say in my post that I was contemplating two 5 volt supplies but I don't have a 12 volt that will handle the current levels being discussed.foxtrapper wrote:Dusty, a regulated dc power supply will work just fine. I wouldn't wire them in series myself, there is no need for the additional voltage.

Somehow I missed that post completely. OKAY, I'll start out on some old tin snips that were fantastic tools until some idiot left them where they got wet every time it rained. If this works, I'm on the way to cleaning up a bunch of old stuff.JPG40504 wrote:Post # 7 - EMPHASIZE the first 'If'!

If you have an ammeter with the proper range(up to 10A) I would be interested in what the current flow is and the other details(what being operated on, separation of electrodes, size of anode...) using a 5v regulated supply.
Pix would suffice!
TIA
