I live in Beaverton and might be able to help, but I leave for NYC Thursday afternoon.
It looks like a 500 in reasonable shape with several nice accessories.
I will send you PM with contact details.

It certainly does, as Paul said, look like a worthwhile set of tools. Everything looks used and un-abused. I'd recommend giving it serious consideration.uwrasta wrote:Need help looking a buying a used unit and wondering if someone with some knowledge would be willing to meet me at the sellers house this coming monday or on the weekend (may 1stish) Also wondering if some of you jedi's could look at these pics and tell me anything by them?? suggestions ect.

I am with the other guys, with the SPT items that come with it and the DC. If the machine runs smooth and goes through the speed smoothly I would be looking at it as a good investment.

Depending on cost I would consider it even if it needed belts or a Speed Control Assembly. That is a lot of SPT's to work with.

The cost of the unit and all accessories
He wants 850 dollars for the whole lot. his father bought about 20 years ago used it to make some toys and now it's been sitting in his basement for 15-16 years. his son told me last night the he though the unit might have a total of about 200 hours of use and that was a generous number. Anyway, let me know what you think???????????????
